In case you haven't had enough drama in a real school, Minecraft has created a school mod for you. The mod has exploded on Youtube with several videos receiving hundreds of thousands of views. If this is all new to you, here are five things to know about it.

It doesn't matter to you, but Little Kelly, the person responsible for this particular Minecraft School YouTube roleplaying game, failed her exam. Oh no. What are we supposed to do. Maybe if she didn't spend so much time going to class in the real world, Little Kelly would have time to study for her non-existent virtual exam. Some kids never learn.

As we said above, YouTube viewers love this show. 350,947 people have so far watched little Kelly fail her Minecraft exam and that's nothing. Some of these mods are reaching millions of views. So what exactly makes these role-playing games so popular?

3. THEY ARE ENTERTAINING

Depending on what you call entertainment, Minecraft School could be a good way to pass the time. At least that's what it seems to be like for millions of viewers on YouTube. It's really no different than the average teen drama on the Disney Channel. Just remove the actors and add pixelated characters in a pixelated environment, narrated by a pixelated person. Okay, so maybe it's a little different from the Disney Channel teen dramas, but that doesn't stop it from becoming popular.

Where did all that free time go that people seem to have to hang out? It's no longer enough to spend your free time playing video games, but you can now watch others play video games. This could hardly be classified as a video game either. Instead, Minecraft School is a unique YouTube television experience.
