For all of you who are excited about PlayStation VR, you might be even more excited after hearing this. Sony, the VR mastermind, recently announced that Star Wars Battlefront, also on PS4, will have a VR compatible version. While it didn't reveal many details about it, Sony gave fans plenty of reasons to be excited.
SONY'S VP OF MARKETING TALKED ABOUT STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT
John Koller, Sony's vice president of marketing, recently had the opportunity to talk about the VR version of Star Wars Battlefront. As Koller tells it, the team's goal was to make the experience so spectacular that players would truly feel like they were in the world of Star Wars. For those of you who are skeptical about it, Star Wars Battlefront will really show you what it means to be in the world of virtual reality, Koller says. But what he mostly said was that this version would be entirely different from the PS4 version. This statement has fans up in arms, and we all want more clarification from Koller on this point.
KOLLER TALKS ABOUT LAUNCH DATE
It is possible that the VR version of Star Wars Battlefront will be a launch title. Koller mentioned that this game is a great example of a game that would take ownership of the launch period. This gives fans reason to believe that it could be available at launch, but only time will tell.
KEEP AN EYE ON SONY
This announcement has fans excited for Sony outside of its PS4. However, fans will have to wait for more details to be released. In the meantime, to satisfy your cravings, keep playing Star Wars Battlefront on the PS4. Then, use your imagination to picture what the game will be like on the PlayStation VR.
