Unless you've been living in your bunker waiting for the zombie apocalypse for the past couple of months, you know about the PlayStation VR. This is Sony's latest "console," and I say "console" because it retails for about one. As Sony fans wait patiently for the eventual release of the PlayStation VR, here are five interesting things to know about it.

1. THE SPECS ARE IMPRESSIVE

If there's one thing we can be sure about the PlayStation VR, it's that it will be breathtakingly good. Sony will run this headset at 120 frames per second, and it also comes with a 1920 x 1080 OLED display. The PlayStation VR is then complemented by a 90/120hz refresh rate.

2. ONLY ONE VR CAN BE USED ON A PS4

The only real disappointment with the PlayStation VR is the fact that only one of them can be used on a PS4 at a time. So that completely eliminates the possibility of two people using a virtual reality headset at the same time. Multiplayer is still accessible, but other players will have to use standard controllers.

3. THE SONY PLAYSTATION VR REQUIRES A PLAYSTATION CAMERA

A PlayStation camera is indeed required to operate the VR headset. However, for some reason, it's not included in the VR itself, and if you don't have it, you're going to have to buy it separately. Sony claims that many people already own it, but I digress. So, if you can do the math, that means the RV may actually cost you $460.

4. IT DOESN'T TAKE ALL YOUR VISION

It seems clear that Sony wants to put all the attention directly in front of you. This virtual reality headset isn't going to completely take away your vision, and it's easier to naturally turn your head when you have it on.

5. IT COMES WITH HEADPHONES

This may not seem like a big deal, as many people already have headphones, but the VR will come with them. Of course, Sony still gives you the option to use your own if you want. This is really a win-win because if you already have headphones, you can use them with the PlayStation VR, and if you don't, you can use the ones included.
