At the end of the day, what's the point of paying for PS4 games? Well, I can already hear you saying that you won't get many good free games. I'll admit that you won't find a game like The Witcher 3 for free, but you can still find some solid games. To help you not have to dig for them, here are the top seven games you can play for free on the PS4.
7. INVOKERS TOURNAMENT
Let's just say that Invokers Tournament isn't League of Legends, but at least it's free. This PS4 game is a multiplayer online battle arena game, much like League of Legends. I highly recommend this game if you are interested in League of Legends, but want to start slow. Consider this game as your training for League of Legends!

Pool games have never been my forte, to be quite honest. However, that has changed with Hustle Kings, and this free pool game for PS4 is definitely worth it. There's actually a very entertaining career mode, and also, the online tournaments are a nice touch. Sure, it may not be one of the best games you've ever played, but it's definitely worth your time if you like pool play.
5. WAR THUNDER
War Thunder certainly doesn't suffer from a lack of content as the game has an absurd amount of vehicles, numerous difficulty settings and a wide range of gameplay. If you're a fan of history, specifically World War II, then you should definitely give War Thunder a try on PS4. The best part about this game is that the more time you spend playing it, the more rewarding you will feel. You certainly won't feel like you're grinding for nothing.
4. PLANETSIDE 2
Do you want to play a version of Battlefield that gives you ten times more players? If so, then you need to check out Planetside 2. It's an online first-person shooter, and it's basically a Battlefield on a larger scale. Literally thousands of players can play it, and they can be divided into factions to fight for control of certain territories.
3. RESOGUN
Back in the day, video game fans fell in love with the shoot-em-up genre. Back then, it wasn't all about the visuals, it was about the fun. The free game Resogun for PS4 proved that shoot-em-ups can still be as fun as they were a few years ago. It might be one of the most addictive shooter games I've ever played, and you'll never want to stop playing. The game's incredible soundtrack certainly helps things, as well.
2. WORLD OF TANKS
Screw Twisted Metal, if you play World of Tanks, you can satisfy your deathmatch cravings. There are over a hundred tanks you can drive, and when you do, you're participating in a 15-on-15 deathmatch. This is just the main mode, though, and there are other game modes available. However, the best part about World of Tanks on PS4 is that it takes a lot of different strategies to beat it.
1. WARFRAME
As long as the story isn't the most important element to you in video games, then this free PS4 title is a must-play. Warframe puts you in control of a Tenno, which is a completely badass cyber ninja warrior, and in your quest you have to complete several different objectives. It sounds simple, and it is, but that doesn't stop it from being extremely entertaining.
