Don't worry gamers, it's clear that Minecraft is still a major priority. Just recently, on April 6 to be exact, a new Minecraft update was released for the Microsoft Xbox editions of the game, as well as for the PS4. A brand new Minecraft Story Mode skin pack was released, along with new achievements and several bug fixes.
MINECRAFT STORY MODE SKIN PACK
The Story Mode Skin Pack for the PS4 and Xbox One, among others, is now available for download to spice up the Minecraft experience. This pack adds, as the name suggests, a large number of different player skins, 27 to be exact. But the highlight is Jesse, and if he's one of your favorite characters, then you're definitely going to fall in love with this new pack as it has several new versions.
NEW MICROSOFT XBOX ACHIEVEMENTS AND PS4 TROPHIES
In addition to this awesome skin pack, six new Microsoft Xbox achievements and PS4 trophies have been added to this game. Now, if you manage to create and fully power up a beacon, you will receive an achievement or trophy. This is only one of them, though, and a few others are killing the Wither, spawning the Wither, and even bouncing 30 blocks up on a slime back.
BUG FIXES FOR MINECRAFT
Whether you play this game on PS4 or Xbox, there are bugs. Unfortunately, this is something that both Microsoft and Sony players have to deal with when playing Minecraft. However, this recent update attempts to fix some of the more glaring ones. This update promises to fix the problem of the Ender dragon's immunity to attacks. It will also fix the issue of Slimes not appearing in some swamps, and improve sprint control.
