Tim Burton will probably succeed in destroying Disney's Alice Through The Looking Glass, but if he can't do it, Minecraft will take over. Unfortunately, it only takes a few strange games to create something more entertaining than Burton's sad debauchery.

MINECRAFT SHOWS THE BENEFITS OF DRUGS

Negative effects aside, drugs are known to ignite wild creativity in art lovers. Miles Davis, Andy Warhol and Martin Scorsese are the best examples. A lesser known but equally successful demonstration of drug creativity comes in the form of Minecraft: Creeper Dimension Challenge. Feel free to watch it and try to draw a logical conclusion. Conclusions don't matter in Minecraft, what matters is the journey. Whoever is behind Minecraft: Creeper Dimension uses the creative powers of drugs to their full potential and it's quite brilliant. It doesn't need a billion dollar budget or a scruffy Johnny Depp. Just some good LSD, a sense of humor and an open mind will do the rest. That, Tim Burton, is how you make good entertainment.

DISNEY'S ALICE IS THE MOVIE NO ONE WANTED.

Unlike the aforementioned Minecraft heroes, Tim Burton is a perfect example of what drugs go wrong. The man keeps spewing out art films that no one wants to see. It would be one thing if they were well received, but even Tim can't do that. Disney's Alice Through the Looking-Glass is the sequel no one wanted to the remake no one cared about. What was wrong with Alice before? Her last Disney movie was close to perfect. Why Tim Burton? Why Tim Burton? If he's the creative genius he thinks he is, why create an overly psychedelic version of something that was already great? Sorry for all the questions, but we need answers if there is to be any hope for Alice.

THE $170 MILLION BLIP

That's the price Disney paid for Alice Through the Looking Glass. Even if it makes a profit, its cultural significance will be nothing more than a faint blip in the distance. Disney should be ashamed of itself. After taking Star Wars to such glorious heights, they should never have tainted this legendary tale. There is almost nothing positive surrounding the film, so the best we can hope for is that it dies quickly and remains buried in the graveyard of forgotten Hollywood tragedies.
