I often wonder which video game franchise will last longer: Mario or Final Fantasy? It's a tough question, but I think it's safe to say that eventually we'll see Final Fantasy 785. That may be a bit of an exaggeration, but I'll tell you what isn't, it's Final Fantasy 15. This game is indeed coming, and here are five key things you didn't know about it.
THE OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE
Gamespot released a video containing images of the game provided by Square Enix, which shows that the game is scheduled for release on September 30. That's right, Final Fantasy fans, your patience will finally be rewarded.
FINAL FANTASY 15 HAS BEEN IN DEVELOPMENT FOR 10 YEARS
I know you know this game has been in development for a while, but do you really know it's been 10 years? There is no doubt that this game should be a masterpiece, because if you put that much effort into a project, there is no excuse for it not to be.
A NEW DEMO WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE
Don't worry, if you didn't buy Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, you will still have access to the new demo of the game. The demo features a younger version of the hero, Noctis, traveling through a dreamlike landscape.
THE EXCLUSIVE CARBUNCLE SUMMONING
Listen up fans, because this is very important to know. If you manage to complete the demo I alluded to earlier, you will receive an exclusive Carbuncle Summon. Importantly, this is the only way to unlock it in the full version of the game.
THE LEAKED VIDEO IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE
