As 2023 approaches, you may be interested in new vacation destinations. Lucky for you, the world we live in is big enough to offer something new every year. Of course, some destinations are more appealing than others, which is why we've compiled a list of new places to discover in the coming year. Stick around to see what others have in mind for next year.

Aruba

If you've been to the Caribbean before, you know what to expect. Aruba, however, seems to be in the top five destinations for 2023. Why? Because of its white sand beaches and artificial reefs created by old shipwrecks. You can go snorkeling or diving for the most beautiful underwater views. Another interesting fact about Aruba is that it has excellent ecological initiatives. It wants to ban single-use plastic, as well as reef-destroying sunscreens by next year. We have to say that they deserve all the support, which is why you should choose Aruba for your next vacation.

Bhutan

This is not a country that appears on many goal lists, and that's a shame. The reason we chose Bhutan is because it needs the same support as Aruba. Apparently, they are on their way to becoming the first fully organic state. Not only does the country have a very low carbon footprint, but farmers are learning organic practices and how to get the most out of them. You may not know this, but Bhutan promised in 2011 to become a 100% organic country. For now, it is well on its way. As a destination, you will be amazed. The landscapes are breathtaking and the Buddhist monasteries are beautiful. You should definitely give it a try.

Denmark

This small but charming country in Europe is very open to tourists. Most people go to Copenhagen, the capital of the country. The Tivoli Gardens are simply beautiful, and you'll find plenty of entertainment there. The amusement park is worth a visit. The Blue Planet Aquarium is also one of the main attractions. You will experience marine life like you have never experienced before. Other attractions include the Church of Our Savior, where you can climb 400 steps to the top of the tower. You will be able to see the whole city from up there. The Little Mermaid statue, a guided tour of the city's canals, and the iconic Nyhavn district, where you can see many colorful buildings, may also interest you.

Costa Rica

Apparently, the trend now is to encourage countries that want to go green, and Costa Rica is one of them. About 90% of the country's energy comes from renewable sources. That's huge for anyone. The fact that Costa Rica isn't such a big country doesn't matter. Of course, you'll love the coffee, and in case you surf, know that Costa Rica is known for its legendary surfing experiences. You should also know that Costa Rica is home to half a million species, making it one of the most biodiverse places in the world. Also, don't forget that there is a sloth sanctuary, which is a must-see if you ever visit.

Liberia

If you usually watch the news, you probably already know that Liberia was hit hard by the Ebola virus. But that has ended, and the country is starting to recover. We should encourage them to do so, and since the travel restrictions have been lifted, people are starting to go there. You'll love the rainforests. They are full of beautiful birds, pygmy hippos, chimpanzees, forest elephants, etc. And if you feel like sitting on your butt in the sand, Liberia's white sand beaches will let you do just that.
