How to get away from society ?
Before you cut off all contact with society, you need to be sure of your reasons for doing so. You will have to stop using all the services available in modern society and get away from everyone, including those you love. Walking away from society is a radical decision that should not be taken lightly. Think it over and see if it will help you achieve the goal you have set for yourself. Then, cut yourself off from all social factors and start relying only on yourself.
1. Decide whether your reasons are environmental or political. Some people seek to distance themselves from society for environmental or political reasons and wish to live in autarky, for example. Living in autarky is a way to get away from society. You will not be dependent on any of the social or municipal services that most of us take for granted, such as the telephone system, garbage collection, electricity and water.
Most people who live in autarky are also concerned about excessive consumption and the idea that modern society is overusing the earth's natural resources.
2. Determine if you suffer from anxiety or depression. Some individuals seek to distance themselves from society because they experience anxiety and depression. 2] Loneliness and depression can cause some people to live on the margins of society.
- Research shows that isolating yourself can be dangerous to your health because it weakens your immune system and increases the risk of inflammation. These are precursors to heart disease and diabetes.
- If you feel that your feelings of loneliness and sadness are what are driving you to live on the margins of society, consider seeking help from a psychologist or doctor.
3. Ask yourself if you are trying to avoid the law. Some people distance themselves from society because they are trying to avoid the law. Living like a fugitive is a bad idea. If there is a warrant out for your arrest because you committed a crime, go to your local police station.
If you think you are innocent, then hire a lawyer and defend yourself. You will still have to go to the police.
4. Consider whether you want to get away from the daily grind. Some people choose to live on the bangs of society for less stressful reasons, such as simply avoiding the daily grind. Today, it is much easier to work from home.
5. Understand that humans are social animals. While you are trying to figure out what you want to get away from society for, you need to understand that humans are social animals. We benefit both psychologically and physically from being in contact with other individuals.
6. Decide how much you want to get away from society. Do you want to get away from everything, including co-workers, friends and even family? If you have a job that requires you to get out of the house, it will be difficult to get away from society entirely. You will naturally be forced to have contact with your colleagues.
7. Determine your boundaries. If you decide to live on the margins of society, will you make exceptions? Who will you be in contact with? Think about the various cases that could allow you to return to society.
8. Think about how long you will be on the margins of society. If things are going badly right now, walking away may seem like a good idea, but think about what it would be like in the long run. Do you want to stay on the sidelines for a week, a month or longer?
How long you want to disappear will determine what you do. For example, if you want to disappear for a year, consider finding a remote location.
9. Get rid of your phone. Today's technology tools like computers and smartphones can be detected very quickly, and without the user even realizing it. If you want to disconnect from your cell phone, you will need to contact your network operator (Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, etc.) and request that they deactivate your SIM.
Many network operators require their users to sign a usage contract. If you cancel the contract before its termination date, you will probably have to pay a fee .
10. Disconnect from all things social networking. Close all of your social media accounts, including Pinterest, Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and any app or program that is supposed to make it easier for multiple people to share.
11. Deactivate your email accounts. Most email operators have a link that allows you to deactivate the account. This allows you to avoid accumulating emails in an account you no longer use. If you think you will probably need the account in the future, you can simply log out and not log back in. Keep in mind, however, that you will continue to receive any email.
12. Remember to turn off the Internet. When you use the Internet, you receive and send data via your IP address, which is linked to your router. This data flow can help track you down. If you want to get away from society, consider that what you do online can help people find you.
13. Stop reading newspapers or watching television. Don't be embarrassed to keep up with the news. If you really want to be on the fringe of society, stop tuning in to what's going on.
14. Avoid communicating or talking with anyone. Keep all communication to a strict minimum. This includes any type of communication, such as signals, messages, emails or discussions.
If you often go to a restaurant or store, just ask for what you want and nothing else. Don't get into any kind of discussion with the manager or waiter. Also, don't approach anyone while you're at the bus stop.
15. Stop seeing people you see regularly. Normally, many people meet during the day, whether they are employees, colleagues, neighbors or workers. If you want to live in autarky, stop interacting with all these people.
- Don't open your door to anyone and don't answer the phone.
- It would be hard for you to isolate yourself if you continue to go to work and interact with your supervisors or co-workers.
- It would be easier if you lived alone. Your home can serve as a sanctuary where you can be alone.
